Victor Osimhen will be sidelined for Galatasaray’s last match of the Turkish Süper Lig season against Kasımpaşa after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign.
The Nigerian striker received the booking during Saturday’s thrilling 4-2 home victory over Antalyaspor.
Despite the suspension, Osimhen played a starring role in the title-clinching win, scoring two goals to help Galatasaray secure their fourth consecutive Turkish league championship.
This marks the forward’s second league title with the club, affectionately known as the Yellow and Reds.
The upcoming fixture is an Istanbul derby, with Kasımpaşa hosting Galatasaray at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium next Sunday.
Manager Okan Buruk’s side will look to finish the season on a high note by taking all three points, even without their prolific goalscorer.
