Tinubu Orders Withdrawal of Court Cases Against Natasha

The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), to withdraw all court cases filed against her.
She disclosed this in a Facebook Live video after she was allegedly prevented from travelling abroad, claiming that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, ordered the seizure of her international passport.
Natasha stated that the President had already intervened in the matter, stressing that there was no justification for the Immigration officials to withhold her passport.
“I know I have two cases filed against me by the Federal Government, but the President has directed the AGF to withdraw them. Tinubu told Akpabio to stop all the cases because they were politically motivated and meant to witch-hunt me,” she said.
Visibly upset, she lamented in the video that Immigration officers had held her passport for more than 20 minutes.
Earlier, the Federal Government had filed a fresh charge against Natasha at the court, accusing her of making statements that allegedly defamed Senate President Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.
