Young Thug directed criticism towards Trippie Redd during one of the numerous leaked jail calls, which left Trippie quite upset upon hearing his remarks.
It appears that Young Thug’s efforts to apologize have significantly contributed to mending the relationships he had strained while incarcerated. In a recent clip shared by Kurrco, the YSL leader is seen collaborating once again with Ohio rapper Trippie Redd in the studio. Trippie was among several MCs who received negative comments from Thugger when those jail calls were made public.
The Atlanta native remarked that Redd would only pursue women like GloRilla, whom he described as unattractive and undesirable. “Do not inquire about any conflicts. I do not associate with anyone. I harbor animosity towards everyone; I prefer to remain in my own lane… And this disposition is not by choice,” Trippie expressed.
“It is a result of the industry’s influence on me. Everyone else is behaving similarly. All these individuals are insincere… Everyone is merely focused on the next track. Their only concern is the appearance of others, mocking and discussing the next person. It is quite ridiculous.”
He further elaborated, “I recall when this was simply about us supporting one another, enjoying the creative process, elevating our standards. We aimed to demonstrate our superior talent as a Black community and within the hip-hop sphere. I believe that essence has been lost as individuals have chosen sides in this matter. Everyone desires to be friends with certain individuals while disregarding others.”

However, since that time, the situation appears to have returned to normal among the collaborators, who have previously worked on tracks such as “Forever Ever,” “YELL OH,” and “Spaceships.”
In the video, they are engaged in what seems to be a more melodic piece. It remains uncertain when Thug initiated contact or if Redd was the first to reach out, but we are pleased to witness their reunion. The past month has been challenging for the UY SCUTI creative, yet it appears that things are improving.
Regarding that album, it is now scheduled for release on September 26. If you recall, it was originally set to launch yesterday, September 19. Nevertheless, according to Thug, he never intended to release it on that date.
“You all know I wasn’t dropping Friday,” he tweeted. He further clarified his reasoning by stating, “It’s a ladies day [red heart emoji] do your thing @iamcardib.” Cardi B reciprocated the support for her male counterpart, replying, “And you better step next week …you got this, You know this!!”
