Corrections Policy

Our Commitment to Accuracy

At eTimes247, accuracy is the foundation of trust. Despite our best efforts, errors can occasionally occur. When they do, we are committed to correcting them promptly, clearly, and transparently.

Correction Procedure

  1. Error Identification:
When an error or factual inaccuracy is identified — by a reader, editor, or reporter — it is reviewed by our editorial team.

  2. Verification:
The editorial staff confirms whether the error occurred and determines the nature of the correction required.

  3. Correction and Notification:

    • Minor factual corrections (e.g., spelling or date errors) are silently corrected within the article.

    • Significant corrections (e.g., misquotes, wrong facts, or misattributed information) will include a correction note at the bottom of the article stating what was changed and when.

  4. Retractions:
In rare cases where a story is found to be fundamentally inaccurate or ethically flawed, it may be retracted. A notice explaining the retraction will replace the article content.
