The First Lady of Yobe State, Hafsat Buni, on Tuesday distributed food items to 2,000 vulnerable women across the state.
Buni, who also serves as the State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative, said the gesture was aimed at supporting vulnerable women during the holy month of Ramadan across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

Represented by the Commissioner for the Yobe State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Mairo Amshi, the First Lady said, “The Renewed Hope Initiative will continue to empower women, strengthen community resilience, and support vulnerable populations across the state.”
