The Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organisation in Zamfara State, Bashir Isa Gusau, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits.
The abduction was disclosed on Thursday by a security analyst, Bakatsine, who said the incident occurred in Gusau town. According to him, the gunmen reportedly stormed Gusau’s residence in large numbers and abducted him in the presence of his wife.
He added that security agencies were immediately alerted, but efforts to locate the victim have so far been unsuccessful.
As of press time, there was no official statement from security authorities on the incident.
