Gargari Ward accuses Dungurawa of fueling internal crisis, disrespecting party leadership
The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) executives in Gargari Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, have expelled the party’s State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, barely two weeks after his re-election.
The decision was reached during the ward’s second executive meeting, with 27 executive members signing the resolution under the leadership of Ward Chairman, Shuaibu Hassan.
Dungurawa was accused of causing divisions within the party, instigating internal crises, failing to pay party dues, and making abusive remarks against Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf.
The ward executives said the action followed due process in line with the party’s constitution and aimed at safeguarding unity and discipline within the NNPP.
Copies of the resolution were forwarded to the party’s local, state, and national leadership, including the national leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Governor Abba Yusuf.
The ward reaffirmed its loyalty to the NNPP leadership and pledged continued support for the Kano State Government.
