Muhammad Basheer HotoroThe Federal Government has approved uniform sale prices for housing units under its Renewed Hope Estate Programme across all states of the Federation.
The programme, spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, aims to make homeownership more accessible and equitable for Nigerians.
The housing units include one-, two-, and three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows.
According to a statement by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Mr Badamasi Haiba, the approved prices are ₦8.5 million for a one-bedroom unit, ₦11.5 million for a two-bedroom, and ₦12.5 million for a three-bedroom bungalow.
The Ministry said the adoption of uniform prices promotes affordability, transparency, and fairness, ensuring equal opportunities for citizens nationwide to benefit from the Renewed Hope Housing Programme.
It added that the sale of completed housing units will commence soon, and applications can be made through the online portal or obtained from the Ministry’s headquarters and field offices across the country.
