Kwara United’s head coach, Tunde Sanni, is optimistic that his team will achieve a more favorable outcome when they face Asante Kotoko this weekend.
The Harmony Boys suffered a 4-3 defeat to their opponents in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The second leg is scheduled to take place this Sunday at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.
Kwara United will require a 1-0 victory to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Sanni is assured that they will triumph over the Porcupine Warriors on their home ground.
“Our expectations did not align with what we encountered. They were somewhat luckier today, that is the reality. They had a bit more luck, but they will be coming to face us at home,” he stated to reporters following the match.
