Zamfara Government Rehabilitates Security Patrol Vehicles

Initiative Aims to Boost Mobility and Operational Efficiency of Security Agencies

In a statement issued on Saturday in Gusau, the ministry’s spokesperson, Jamilu Bello, said the initiative was designed to sustain and enhance the operational capacity of security agencies across the state.

According to him, several grounded and non-functional vehicles have been repaired, serviced, and fully restored under the programme.

Bello noted that the successful rehabilitation exercise reflects the state government’s commitment to effective asset management, technical efficiency, and institutional support for security agencies.

He disclosed that upon completion of the exercise, Governor Dauda Lawal would formally hand over the refurbished vehicles to the benefiting agencies, including the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The handover of these vehicles underscores the administration’s resolve to equip security agencies with the necessary logistics to improve mobility, ensure timely response, and enhance overall operational effectiveness across the state,” the statement said.

It added that the initiative aligns with the state government’s broader commitment to supporting security agencies in the effective discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.

This administration remains resolute in supporting security agencies through infrastructure development and equipment maintenance,” the statement concluded.
