According to Vanguard, suspected bandits carried out a brutal attack on a girls’ boarding school in Kebbi State, killing the school’s vice principal and abducting 25 female students.
The assailants reportedly stormed the institution early in the morning, using heavy gunfire to overpower security. Their actions have sparked widespread panic in the Maga community and beyond, reigniting fears about the safety of students in conflict-prone areas.
Local authorities and parents are now demanding urgent intervention from state and federal governments to secure the release of the kidnapped girls and to strengthen protection measures for schools.
