FIFA has appointed Chadian official Alhadi Allaou Mahamat as the center referee for the ninth matchday of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Lesotho and Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
ETIMES247 notes that Mahamat previously officiated the Super Eagles’ 1-0 victory against Rwanda in Uyo on September 6 (matchday 7).
The referee will be supported by his fellow countrymen Bogola Issa (assistant 1), Moussa Hafiz (assistant 2), and Abdelkerim Ousmane (fourth official).
Alice Damaris Kimani from Kenya will act as the referee assessor, while William Makinati Shongwe from eSwatini will take on the role of commissioner.
The Crocodiles are set to host the Super Eagles at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa, next Friday.
The match is scheduled to start at 5 PM Nigerian time.
