Cardi B expressed some severe criticism towards Lil Uzi Vert, and now JT seems to have responded to the lyrics in a tweet that has since been removed.
The conflict between Cardi B and JT has been ongoing since approximately 2022, originating from the disbandment of the City Girls and some subtle jabs following the release of “Tomorrow 2.” This feud continued on Cardi’s latest album, Am I The Drama? In the song “Magnet,” she confronts JT and delivers some biting lines aimed at Lil Uzi Vert.
In the second verse of the track, she raps: “All that d*ck ridin’, still ain’t get no feature-ass b***h / She just mad she got a n***a she be sharin’ bags with / My n***a cheat, but I don’t stick no dildos in his ass, b***h / You look a hot mess, easily impressed-ass b*tch / You never gave looks, you started getting dressed-ass b***h / Ricky O the only fashion house you know-ass b*tch / You should’ve asked me, would’ve took you to the show, lil’ b***h.”
JT did not appreciate those lines and seemingly issued her own sharp retort in a tweet that has now been deleted. “Guitar body h* wasn’t talking about me. Better be quiet before I tell them the real tea. Btch PH balance will fry a whole fish [disgusted emoji]. YUCK. With that one flow lol,” she stated on X (formerly Twitter).

Following the release of the track, Cardi B took to X to respond to Joe Budden, who expressed skepticism regarding her ability to write her own songs. She shared a video from July 2024 in which she demonstrated her process for crafting the lines and flow of the verse. “Do not give me backhanded 10’s because I will always be able to substantiate my work,” she stated to Budden.
JT was not the sole individual targeted by Cardi on the album, as she also confronted BIA with the diss track “Pretty & Petty.” It will be intriguing to observe whether either of Cardi’s primary targets will enter the studio to provide a direct response. JT appears to have no immediate intentions to release new music; however, diss tracks seldom come with prior notice. We shall see what unfolds next.
