Paul Scholes, Manchester United legend, has described Manchester City’s signing of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain as the best deal of the summer transfer window.

The European summer transfer window closed on Monday night.

Several players including Donnarumma, Alexander Isak, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Boniface, Jadon Sancho and among others secured moves to different clubs.

Scholes believes Donnarumma is the signing of the summer window.

“Donnarumma for £26m surely has to be signing of the window… obviously apart from the 14 Salford City have signed,” Scholes said as quoted by The Daily Mail.
