Agency ReportThe Jigawa State Executive Council has approved the contract for the construction of an additional two-storey office block at the State Secretariat complex. This decision was made during the Council’s meeting on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
In a statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture, Sagir Musa Ahmed, the contract is valued at ₦8,738,465,258.48.
This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and accommodate the growing needs of various state ministries.
