Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has said his administration introduced difficult but necessary reforms to stabilise public finance, improve governance and create a predictable business environment in the state.
The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Business Innovation and Technology, Patience Fakai, spoke at the opening of the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair, noting that the reforms are already yielding results.
He said Kaduna has ranked first in Nigeria’s Subnational Fiscal Transparency Index for two consecutive years, adding that transparency and credible public finance help attract investors and reduce the cost of doing business.
Sani added that the state remains committed to promoting local content development, supporting indigenous businesses and attracting both local and foreign investment.
