Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed the Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Abdulkadir Goshi II, as the Ameerul-Hajj to lead the state’s pilgrims to the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The state government said the delegation leader will coordinate with Nigerian and Saudi authorities to ensure the welfare and smooth participation of Kwara pilgrims throughout the exercise.

Preparations for the 2026 pilgrimage have already commenced, with the main Hajj rites expected to take place in late May 2026, subject to moon sighting.
